Responsibilities

Providing 24/7 escalation support as part of a rota
Installation, cabling, wiring, and equipment grounding
Running and testing power, fibre, ethernet, and console cables
Cleaning, inspecting, and labelling equipment and fibres
Smart Hands support across routers, servers, and switches
POP (Point of Presence) housekeeping and quality inspections
Supervising third‑party engineers on site
Supporting cage/rack builds, migrations, audits, and network installs

Qualification

Transmission experienceTelecoms network designFibre optic installationCisco/Juniper troubleshootingMicrosoft OfficeManual handlingOSPIP experienceFlexible mindsetProblem-solving skills

Required

Full US Driving Licence
Strong racking & stacking and Transmission experience
Hands-on telecoms network design, implementation, and optimisation exposure
Experience in data centre and customer premises environments
Proven fibre optic installation, testing, troubleshooting, and cleaning capability
Ability to diagnose faults using tools such as LSPM
Knowledge of Cisco/Juniper CPE and remote console troubleshooting
Competence with Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
Manual handling capability
Practical experience in OSP and IP (entry level as a minimum)
A flexible, proactive, safety‑focused mindset
