Responsibilities
Provide technical support for communications equipment, peripherals, networks, and software
Provide technical guidance in use of Microsoft Windows, peripheral/shared drive mapping, browser compatibility / configuration
Configure / maintain government-issued cell phones
Troubleshoot error messages, provide technical solutions, and open trouble tickets
Support users at all STARCOM HQ locations
Support and resolve issues within PWS-specified timelines
Provide systems accounts for NIPRNet and SIPRNET and systems support
Set up or modify user access to the classified internet and e-mail accounts
Troubleshoot connectivity or configuration issues
Qualification
Required
An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this job, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain
Security + Certification
5+ years of experience supporting DoD networks and working with Comm Focal Points
Knowledge of USAF and US Space Force Information Technology policies and procedures
Self-Starter with the ability to work independently
Accustomed to professionally working with senior leaders
Experience with providing technical guidance to users
Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo, collaborative environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF)
Preferred
BA/BS Degree
Headquarters, Combatant Command or MAJCOM/Field Command experience
