Responsibilities
Lead and manage a large-scale enterprise modernization project from initiation through delivery
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and scope
Create and manage all required project documentation, presentations, and artifacts
Provide weekly written and verbal status updates to stakeholders and leadership
Present project updates to executive leadership and oversight committees
Identify, track, and escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
Ensure project compliance with established project management frameworks and governance standards
Oversee SDLC deliverables and ensure business requirements are properly documented and implemented
Coordinate and lead regular project team meetings
Support on-call activities as required during critical project phases
Qualification
Required
10+ years of project management experience on large-scale enterprise implementations
8+ years of experience managing State or Federal government projects
8+ years of experience leading legacy system modernization initiatives
Strong understanding of PMI-based project management methodologies
Proven ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Experience with structured government project delivery frameworks
Experience with low-code or no-code platforms
Experience working with statewide or enterprise-level systems
Knowledge of quality assurance and oversight processes for major IT initiatives
