Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all manufacturing personnel and machine operations during the assigned shift
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all processes and equipment
Identify, report, and address process or equipment issues that impact workflow; escalate to the Manager or Plant Engineers when necessary
Review and report on employee training progress
Organize and coordinate work activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Ensure compliance with established company policies, rules, regulations, and procedures
Verify proper product identification, weights, and warehousing practices
Communicate plant status, production updates, and instructions to the incoming shift
Assume responsibility for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping within the assigned area, ensuring production quality and quantity standards are met
Complete and review safety incident reports with employees following any workplace accident
Communicate production status and issues with the planning office
Troubleshoot operational and production issues as they arise
Maintain current forklift certification and successfully complete annual testing requirements
Identify and report potential safety hazards to supervisors or management
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Required

3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
One year as a supervisor / Trainer
Lead and supervise all manufacturing personnel and machine operations during the assigned shift
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all processes and equipment
Identify, report, and address process or equipment issues that impact workflow; escalate to the Manager or Plant Engineers when necessary
Review and report on employee training progress
Organize and coordinate work activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Ensure compliance with established company policies, rules, regulations, and procedures
