Account Manager
Canvas Meetings & Incentives is a woman-owned business specializing in full-service event planning. The Account Manager plays a key role in supporting clients from sales enablement through sourcing, contracting, and program execution support while maintaining a polished, high-touch client experience.

Responsibilities
Prepare client proposals and contracts
Maintain CRM accuracy and manage data entry related to sales efforts
Keep Google Drive organized and structured for easy team access
Support the turnover process with Accounting (invoices, paperwork, vendor/client follow-up)
Audit paperwork and CRM entries for accuracy and completeness
Prepare onboarding documents for new clients
Assist with company social media posts as outlined by CEO
Support the operations team as additional on-site staff when needed (with advance notice)
Partner with Sales to support the client retention process and ensure an excellent ongoing experience
Partner with internal Canvas team to understand each client’s scope, goals, and needs
Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations to confirm venues/meeting spaces meet requirements
Solicit bids from venues and service providers (hotels, off-sites, vendors, etc.)
Source programs and build details in Cvent
Maintain positive vendor relationships and represent Canvas with professionalism at all times
Negotiate contracts on behalf of clients to Canvas standards
Coordinate and support site visits (as requested and approved by leadership)
Build and prepare itineraries for Canvas Travels programs as needed
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities through strategic outreach, partnerships, and relationship building
Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline, from lead generation through contract negotiation and onboarding
Maintain expert knowledge Canvas; product, brand positioning, and competitive set to effectively position and differentiate the property within the luxury travel market
Support Canvas Cares initiatives and special projects
Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and familiarization trips when requested
Support additional initiatives as designated by the executive team
Qualification
Required
Sourcing & Contracting Experience: Strong preference for candidates with direct experience
Extremely Organized: Exceptional in Google Suite; able to manage details and deadlines with ease
High-Level Customer Service: Polished communication with a client-first mindset
Strong Attention to Detail: Able to manage multiple programs across industries while maintaining an individual level of service
Hospitality Industry Experience: Solid understanding of the meeting planning process
Sales Confidence: Understanding of the sales cycle and comfort supporting efforts to secure business
Creativity & Problem-Solving: Able to think outside the box and offer solutions
Remote Work Readiness: Self-motivated, disciplined, and focused from anywhere in the world
Team Player: Fun, inspired, confident energy in a high-performance, high-expectation environment
Collaboration: Works seamlessly across departments to drive the best client outcomes
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Willing to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
