Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws while remaining aligned with our fast-paced culture
Act as a proactive leader in fostering a positive, high-trust work environment. You’ll be the point person for identifying and addressing organizational needs before they become hurdles
Manage our HRIS (Rippling) and all integrated tools, ensuring that onboarding, offboarding, and payroll workflows are automated and bulletproof
Partner with senior management to design strategies for growth. You’ll serve as the 'connective tissue' between leadership and operations to ensure accountability across teams
Analyze organizational data to identify areas for improvement. You’ll design reporting that provides real-time visibility into departmental performance and organizational health
Develop and manage budgets for HR initiatives, including a lead role in benefits strategy, open enrollment, and ROI analysis of our people spend
Lead and mentor our evolving People team, staying abreast of industry trends to ensure GoRascal remains an employer of choice in the fintech and mortgage space
Qualification
Required
5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong background in Employee Relations and People Operations in a scaling environment
Proven track record of creating and implementing HR policies that drive organizational growth
Strong understanding of federal and state labor laws, with the ability to simplify complex compliance issues for executive audiences
Expert-level analytical skills and experience managing HRIS platforms (Rippling preferred)
Confidence in presenting insights and recommendations to Co-Founders and senior stakeholders
