Responsibilities
Assist in the development of a new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product designed to streamline Physician and APP workforce management processes
Apply data science techniques to glean knowledge and equip our Physician and APP workforce consultants with actionable insights, empowering data-driven decision-making
Create insightful visualizations to aid in enhanced understanding and increased transparency of data and knowledge
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align workstreams and product development efforts, ensuring our solutions effectively meet the evolving needs of our target consumer base
Collect, prepare, and preprocess large datasets from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and readiness for analysis and visualization
Develop compelling visualizations and presentations to effectively communicate complex findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization
Contribute to the creation of an educational module that provides an overview of data science principles and best practices in data visualization, fostering knowledge-sharing within the team
Evaluate and identify opportunities to improve the user experience (UX) effectiveness of existing applications, ensuring intuitive and user-friendly interfaces
Qualification
Required
Must reside in one of the following states in the summer of 2026: AZ, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, MA, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, SC, TX, VA, and WI
Pursuing an undergraduate degree with the expectation to graduate from a school of computer or information science with a focus in one or more areas: data science, data visualization, and/or product development
Minimum GPA of 3.25
Experience with data analysis and/or visualization tools such as Power BI, Python, R, Tableau and Figma
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to gather, analyze, and organize data systematically
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ascertain relevant and irrelevant data when conducting analytical work
Recognize patterns and issues in sets of data
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail
Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team
Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work under tight deadlines or changes in scope
Exceptional collaboration and teamwork skills
