Responsibilities
System Design & Architecture: In collaboration with the OFCC Development Lead develop overall software architecture, define components, select frameworks, and choose technologies
Technical Leadership: Guide development teams, provide direction, mentor junior developers, and oversee project execution
Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and align technical strategy with business goals
Code Quality & Standards: Lead code reviews, enforce design patterns, and ensure adherence to best practices
Troubleshooting & Optimization: Resolve complex technical issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and ensure system scalability and resilience
Documentation: Create and maintain architectural documentation, technical specifications, and design decisions
Qualification
Required
Experience in designing and architecting Java applications for an AWS environment
Experience in managing a large, mission-critical software implementation for a public owner
Experience in communicating, analysing, and reporting on status, features, upgrades, backlog
Experience in using AI to facilitate application development and testing
Experience in application modernization on an AWS or Azure platform
