Fraud Specialist

Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth fraud analysis and investigations, including customer authentication and identity verification
Review and assess account activity across multiple systems to identify, confirm, or clear suspected fraud
Handle inbound calls and fraud referrals from customers impacted by fraudulent activity
Ensure compliance with fraud prevention policies and procedures across all business channels
Analyze fraud trends related to identity theft, fraudulent orders, and account misuse
Research cases thoroughly and draw sound conclusions based on available data
Partner with internal teams to support customer verification, escalation, or legal action when appropriate
Investigate and respond to fraud escalations in a timely and professional manner
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of fraud-related policies, processes, and controls
Identify operational gaps and recommend solutions to improve fraud detection and prevention
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of relevant experience in fraud prevention, customer service, or a call center environment
1+ years of experience working in a Windows-based computer environment
Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage customers professionally and empathetically
Experience navigating multiple systems and computer applications simultaneously while on customer calls
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
