Responsibilities
Provide support for office staff using the Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365, AutoCAD, and other design programs
Ensure the firm's employees have the necessary IT support to use advanced engineering software and tools, troubleshoot technical issues, and manage system updates
Oversee the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of the firm's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software
Manage software updates, office hardware, and network improvements
Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards
Develop and implement security measures to protect data and systems and create disaster recovery plans
Implement and manage security measures to protect the firm's data and systems from cyber threats
Help determine and implement the organization's IT goals
Develop long-term plans for network upgrades and technology infrastructure, focusing on security, efficiency, and reliability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management, network administration, systems administration, and IT security preferred
Strong project management and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in technical areas such as server management, network administration, and desktop support is also crucial
Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Microsoft servers/Active Directory
Self-starter who can work both individually and with a team
Stays current with emerging technologies and adapting to change
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Must pass initial and periodic drug screenings
Ability to pass background check
