Responsibilities

Translate customers’ wants into new product designs through an iterative process
Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and project managers, to define system requirements and specifications
Develop and maintain system architectures, models, and documentation to optimally communicate system design and functionality
Identify safe and robust (regulatory mindful) components and perform associated testing
Detect and address technical issues and challenges throughout the system development lifecycle
Update and maintain current product drawings and components as needed

Qualification

CAD design softwareMechanical engineeringTechnical writingProblem-solvingInterpersonal skillsSelf-motivated

Required

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 0-2 years' experience
Proficiency in CAD design software; SolidWorks, Pro/e, or equivalent
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with customers
Good technical writing skills to produce reports and documents
Self-motivated and willing to take clear ownership of work
Ability to identify and resolve issues with strong problem-solving skills

Preferred

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
