Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations on multiple commercial construction sites, ensuring the project progresses according to schedule, budget, and scope
Supervise, mentor, and coordinate activities of subcontractors, tradespeople, and other on-site personnel
Maintain strict quality standards to ensure work meets both company and regulatory specifications
Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, conducting regular site safety inspections
Develop and maintain project timelines, proactively addressing potential delays or obstacles and implementing corrective actions
Monitor and track project costs, ensuring the project stays within budget, and assisting in cost-saving initiatives where applicable
Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to communicate progress and resolve any on-site issues
Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, safety reports, and progress reports for internal and client use
Travel to various job sites as needed (approximately 80% of the time), with occasional overnight stays
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar leadership role in commercial construction, with a focus on managing large-scale projects
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
In-depth understanding of construction processes, project scheduling, contract documents, and safety regulations (OSHA certifications a plus)
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification (required); PMP or LEED certification a plus
Must be willing and able to travel frequently and work on-site at different locations across the United States
Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
