Responsibilities

Define and execute the global public sector go-to-market strategy, establishing market priorities, sales methodologies, and growth targets across IC/DOD/MOD and SLED markets
Build multi-year strategic plans that align with Senzing's corporate objectives while addressing the unique requirements of diverse government markets
Establish sales metrics, forecasting methodologies, and pipeline management disciplines that ensure predictable revenue attainment
Partner with executive leadership to shape product roadmap priorities based on public sector market requirements
Recruit, develop, and lead a world-class team of account executives, sales engineers, and sales operations professionals across multiple geographies
Create a performance-driven culture that balances individual accountability with collaborative team success
Implement coaching, training, and professional development programs that accelerate team capabilities in complex government sales
Design compensation structures and incentive programs that attract and retain top public sector sales talent
Own worldwide public sector revenue targets, consistently meeting and exceeding annual bookings and consumption goals
Steward and expand our existing global portfolio of government accounts while driving aggressive new business development in underserved markets
Personally engage in strategic account relationships, particularly with high-value prospects and mission-critical customer escalations
Develop account penetration strategies that expand Senzing's footprint within large government organizations across all markets
Scale Senzing's presence in international defense and intelligence markets, building on existing customer success in allied nations
Accelerate growth in established markets while identifying and entering new high-potential government sectors
Build and execute SLED market entry strategies, identifying high-potential states, municipalities, and education institutions
Navigate diverse procurement landscapes including US federal contracting vehicles, international defense frameworks, and state/local purchasing processes
Develop partnerships with global system integrators, resellers, and government-focused technology partners
Work closely with product management, engineering, and solution architecture teams to ensure offerings meet government requirements including security, compliance, and deployment flexibility
Partner with marketing to develop public sector messaging, thought leadership, and demand generation programs
Collaborate with legal and contracts teams on government-specific compliance requirements, export controls, and contract negotiations
Coordinate with customer success to ensure seamless handoffs and high consumption rates post-sale
Build trusted advisor relationships with C-level executives and senior government officials across customer and prospect organizations
Co-develop compelling business cases that secure internal funding and political support for entity resolution initiatives
Represent Senzing at industry conferences, government forums, and executive briefings worldwide
Leverage our growing portfolio of global customer references and success stories to accelerate pipeline development

Required

15+ years of enterprise software sales experience with at least 7+ years leading public sector sales teams in a VP or equivalent leadership role
Proven track record building and scaling high-performing sales organizations that consistently exceed revenue targets
Deep expertise across multiple government markets including US federal (IC/DOD), international defense/intelligence, and/or SLED
Demonstrated success selling software platforms and subscriptions into government accounts with long sales cycles
Strong understanding of government procurement processes across multiple jurisdictions including federal contracting vehicles, international government frameworks, and state/local purchasing
Experience with classified and unclassified environments, understanding the operational and compliance requirements of both
Exceptional executive presence with proven ability to engage CXOs and senior government officials
Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability—able to both build strategy and close deals
Experience managing geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones
Willingness to travel extensively (40%+) to support team development and strategic customer engagements globally

Preferred

Experience with entity resolution, data analytics, or related data-intensive government solutions
Existing relationships within IC, DOD, allied defense/intelligence agencies, and/or major SLED accounts
Track record successfully scaling international markets for US-based software companies
Experience with on-premises, cloud, and hybrid deployment models in government environments
Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances
Background working with public sector system integrators and understanding their partnership economics
MBA or equivalent advanced degree
