Senior LevelTeoresi Group is seeking a Propulsion Chief Engineer to lead the development and optimization of powertrain components. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful program execution and managing engineering documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Develop, design, and optimize powertrain components and subsystems, including cylinder heads, engine blocks, pistons, and lubrication systems
Support design validation activities, testing, and the implementation of engineering changes throughout the product development lifecycle
Collaborate closely with Design Release Engineers, designers, suppliers, and OEM engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with program objectives
Own and manage engineering documentation, including DFMEA, Engineering Best Practices, DVP&R, and Change Notifications
Work in close partnership with the Program Manager to ensure the quality, completeness, and timely delivery of all engineering outputs
Participate in and support design reviews, lead development issue resolution, and drive component-level optimization activities
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, purchasing, quality, and manufacturing) to ensure overall program execution and success
Lead cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining performance, quality, and reliability targets
Support quality improvement activities by investigating field-return issues and implementing effective interim and permanent corrective actions
Qualification
Required
