Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial statements
Assist in the preparation of financial reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial information for special projects or initiatives
Support the forecasting process by gathering and analyzing financial data
Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for cost optimization and efficiency improvements
Input financial data into accounting systems, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring data integrity
Processing invoices, tracking payments to suppliers or from customers
Assist in maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and preparing reconciliations
Attend Meetings as required or assigned
Perform additional duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field at an accredited university
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Strong interpersonal and time management skills
Availability to work a 40-hour week within standard business hours throughout the summer
Strong analytical skills
Preferred
Graduate students, or undergraduate students who have completed at least 3 full years of undergraduate course work preferred
