Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical contact for rail current transmission products
Coordinate technical documentation packages, including TPS comments, RTSs, material certificates, dimensional checks, drawings, and test reports
Provide technical clarifications to OEMs and support engineering teams
Review RFQs for technical scope and compliance
Develop quotations and update commercial documentation
Support contract review and identify risk areas
Translate technical requirements into commercial implications such as cost drivers, production impacts, supplier dependencies, and margin risks
Support development of long-lead planning, material forecasts, and strategic bid positioning
Maintain ownership of project documentation flow
Track production readiness and delivery commitments
Communicate proactively with customers regarding updates and escalations
Manage all customer documentation from tender to production, ensuring accuracy, version control, and compliance with global standards
Handle Control Plans, dimensional and validation reports, certificates, and production docs
Act as the primary escalation point to resolve bottlenecks between Engineering, Production, QA, Purchasing, and Sales
Track dependencies proactively to avoid delivery delays or quality issues
Oversee production schedules, material availability, supplier readiness, and internal builds
Coordinate globally for timely alignment on documentation, quality, and supply chain matters
Work closely with Inside Sales, BD, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Production
Support credit, finance, and order management
Provide monthly project and performance updates
Assist in diagnosing product issues in service, coordinating corrective actions, and ensuring communication with OEMs and end user transit authorities
Participate in internal process optimization, including improving CbC workflows, document repositories, communication channels, and cross-team coordination practices
Ensure all customer deliverables meet global standards
Coordinate deviations, waivers, and compliance packets
Manage structured technical documentation repositories
Consolidate RTSs to create RTSs with guidance from cross functional teams, validation/qualification documents, supplier certificates, internal inspection results, and test data into customer-ready packets
Ensure internal FAI and supplier documentation align with customer specifications before submission
Coordinate with engineering, project management and QA/QC to set dates and locations of IDR, FDR, and FAIs
Manage deviation packages, waiver justifications, and alternative-design approvals, ensuring proper traceability and customer authorization

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
3–5+ years in technical sales or technical account management
Strong understanding of pantographs, current collectors, and GRUs
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Willingness to travel up to 25%
