Responsibilities
Perform detailed financial and profitability analysis for sales proposals ranging from $1MM to $120MM in potential revenue
Utilize financial modeling and pricing systems to evaluate deal structures, margin impact, and pricing opportunities
Maintain process metrics related to pricing and proposal performance
Provide actionable insights to support sound business and pricing decisions
Act as a trusted finance partner to the Sales organization through ongoing dialogue on deal strategy, risks, and viable financial solutions
Balance revenue growth opportunities with acceptable margin and profitability targets
Communicate financial recommendations clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Gather business updates from select customers to support quarterly forecasting of future invoice amounts
Analyze trends and manage large datasets, including data mining, mapping, and integrating data from multiple sources
Develop and maintain management-ready reports to support decision-making
Provide financial analysis and support for special projects as prioritized by senior management
Support continuous improvement initiatives within FP&A and Commercial Finance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience in financial analysis, FP&A, commercial finance, or pricing
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
Experience working with large datasets, financial models, and trend analysis
Ability to manage multiple deals and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and deliver accurate results under tight timelines
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to diverse audiences
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and effectively with senior management
Preferred
MBA (preferred, not required)
Prior banking experience as a Credit Analyst or Senior Credit Analyst
Experience supporting commercial sales organizations or deal-based financial analysis
