Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements for analytical solutions and data products
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications in collaboration with product owners and engineering teams, and when required, act as a proxy product owner until the solution or product matures
Support the design of analytical solutions and data products by defining functional workflows, use cases, and user stories
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure alignment between requirements and technical solutions
Develop wireframes, mock-ups, or process flows to communicate functional design
Create and maintain detailed documentation, including requirements, acceptance criteria, and user guides
Coordinate and perform functional testing of analytical solutions and data products to validate requirements and ensure quality
Drive user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case preparation, execution, and issue resolution
Support deployment activities and post-implementation validation
Develop and optimize dashboards and reports using Power BI (or similar tools) to deliver clear, actionable insights in collaboration with business users
Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for process or solution improvement
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline
5+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, or product support
Demonstrated experience in a professional office setting
Preferred
Familiarity with insurance systems and licensing regulations is a plus
