Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to payment systems and workflows
Work with stakeholders to define functional and non-functional requirements
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams
Analyze payment processes including authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and use cases
Support UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and requirement grooming sessions
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
Strong experience in Payment Domain (Mandatory)
In-depth knowledge of: Payment processing lifecycle, Credit/Debit cards, ACH, Wire, RTP, SWIFT, ISO 20022, ISO 8583, Payment gateways and transaction flows
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Strong documentation and communication skills
Experience working with cross-functional and global teams
Experience in banking or financial services
Knowledge of risk, fraud, and compliance in payments
Exposure to modern payment platforms and APIs
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
Preferred
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, SQL
Knowledge of regulatory standards
Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA is a plus
