Responsibilities
Automate testing for big-data pipelines and platforms
Develop data automation, integration, and performance test scripts
Generate large volumes of synthetic test data
Automate REST API testing and validate event-streaming workflows
Test distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
Collaborate closely with engineering and data teams to ensure quality at scale
Qualification
Required
Experience automating big-data platforms and pipelines
Strong data automation, integration testing, and performance testing skills
REST-Assured (required)
Experience with Spock, WebDriver, Appium, and/or Jira
Knowledge of Kafka, Spark, S3, SQL scripting, and event streaming
Working knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms
Proficiency in Groovy and Java (Python a plus)
Unix scripting experience
Preferred
Experience with Aerospike, Solr, Hadoop, or Cloudera
