Primer is a hyper-growth marketing company that achieves client growth goals on paid media channels through creative testing and scaling. They are seeking a Creative Strategist to own performance creative and define, test, and scale creative systems that drive measurable outcomes across paid social.

Responsibilities
Build and run structured creative testing roadmaps tied to business goals
Define hooks, angles, formats, and offers to test, not just concepts
Partner tightly with media buyers to align creative with account structure and delivery mechanics
Analyze creative performance at the asset level and translate results into clear next actions
Establish creative volume standards and enforce weekly output expectations
Brief designers, editors, and creators with clear performance hypotheses
Identify creative fatigue early and refresh efficiently
Lead creative performance discussions internally and with clients
Document learnings and turn them into repeatable playbooks
Qualification
Required
5+ years in performance marketing, growth, or paid social creative strategy
Deep hands-on experience with Meta and TikTok Ads. This is non-negotiable
Proven ability to scale accounts through creative, not targeting tricks
Experience managing high-volume creative pipelines (50+ assets per month)
Strong analytical instincts. You know what metrics matter and why
Clear communicator who can explain creative performance without buzzwords
Preferred
Understand how algorithms rank and retrieve creative
Can deconstruct winning ads into repeatable components
Move fast, test aggressively, and learn systematically
Care more about results than opinions
Are comfortable being accountable for performance
Are excited about data insights and how to use that to build creative at scale
