Responsibilities

As an IT Sales Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving sales into existing mid-market accounts
You’ll manage all aspects of the sales process including business development, lead management, qualification, pursuit and closing
Generate new business opportunities to fuel our growth
Create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory
Research and build new accounts via sales prospecting, SEO marketing, LinkedIn, X and CRM to identify contacts, send emails, make strategic calls, and conduct sales presentations
Build and maintain an account portfolio of clients and prospects in the local market
Manage client relationships and services for all accounts by conducting on-site visits and implementing strategic, client specific service
Develop presence in the market by including daily inside phone sales, outside cold-calling, client visits, networking, customer service and proposals

Required

3+ years of successful IT sales experience
Comfortable utilizing consultative selling techniques as well as making cold calls (door to door sales prospecting)
Proven consistent results in selling with an emphasis on prospecting for new opportunities
A proven ability to network, develop strategic partnerships, and develop referral relationships
Successful track record of developing and managing self-initiated sales objectives
Successful negotiating skills with C level decision-makers
Clear, concise communication skills, solid business sense and presentation skills
3+ years of IT sales experience with IT or managed services companies
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Motivation, drive, and a self-starting attitude
