Territory Sales Manager – Dealer Development (Ag Equipment)

They are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to lead dealer development and retention efforts in the Texas market, focusing on building a world-class dealer network and providing training and support to dealer sales teams.

Responsibilities

Dealer Acquisition: Identify, vet, and onboard new high-potential dealers across the region to expand our market footprint
Dealer Retention & Growth: Act as the primary business consultant for existing dealers, helping them increase sales volume and improve service quality
Training & Support: Provide hands-on product training and demonstrations for dealer sales teams, especially on advanced autonomous features
Market Intelligence: Monitor local competitor activity (John Deere, Case IH, Kubota, etc.) and provide feedback to the product team
Field Presence: Spend significant time on the road (approx. 50-60% travel) visiting dealerships and attending local farm shows

Required

Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience in the agricultural equipment industry
Proven track record of managing and developing independent dealer networks
Strong existing relationships with ag dealerships in Texas and Oklahoma
A 'closer' mentality with the ability to build long-term trust without a fancy degree
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are a must

Preferred

Prior experience selling or supporting autonomous driving systems, GPS guidance, or Precision Ag technology
