Responsibilities
Implement and maintain network infrastructure configurations according to established best practices and enterprise standards, proactively identifying and resolving potential configuration issues to ensure optimal system stability and performance
Monitor and analyze network infrastructure performance and configuration data to identify potential issues and proactively address them
Conduct routine system maintenance and resolve operational incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
Utilize established ITIL-based processes and corporate ticketing systems to ensure consistent and efficient resolution of IT issues and requests
Work to resolve complex incidents and escalated tickets, leveraging expertise and collaborating with colleagues to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations
Develop and maintain technical documentation and diagrams to support operational procedures
Provide advanced technical support and guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external vendors, to design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions
Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution
Promote and implement automation to enhance efficiency, create self-service capabilities, and improve the reliability of IT systems
Stay current with developments in network technology and recommend ways to take advantage of new innovations and advancements
Respond to network failures and provide after-hours support, including participating in an on-call rotation, as required
Work with colleagues in team-based focus groups to address specific initiatives and contribute to shared goals
Contribute to high-performing teams through collaboration, communication, and knowledge sharing with colleagues across the organization
Provide mentoring and guidance to other team members, sharing expertise and supporting professional development as needed

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in CIS, MIS, IT, or a related field or equivalent experience required
5+ years prior industry experience (Enterprise preferred)
Work as a point of escalation for other engineers and administrators
Maintain detailed documentation for network topology
Perform software and hardware upgrades
Maintain system documentation and configuration data for operating, regulatory, and audit purposes
Proven experience in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure in datacenters and office locations
Experience in multi-site datacenter operations, including onsite hands-on support for network equipment and cabling
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to exchange ideas and information and effectively relate to others to accomplish work responsibilities
Experience with monitoring systems
Possess the ability to achieve quality results, be change-oriented, foster innovation, and be a continuous learner
Ability to travel as needed (up to 5%)
Preferred
Possessing a current certification relevant to the support technology field is preferred (e.g., Cisco and/or Palo Alto)
