They are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead and review tax compliance for nonprofit clients, mentor staff, and build strong client relationships in a fully remote work environment.

Responsibilities
Lead and review tax compliance and consulting projects for a diverse portfolio of nonprofit clients
Oversee preparation of federal and state informational returns (Form 990, 990-T, and related filings)
Advise clients on complex nonprofit tax issues, including UBIT, grant reporting, and exempt status maintenance
Supervise, mentor, and review the work of tax associates and seniors
Maintain exceptional client relationships through proactive communication and thoughtful service
Qualification
Required
CPA license required
5+ years of recent nonprofit tax experience (public accounting or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of Form 990-F and nonprofit tax compliance
Indepth knowledge of Foreign filling forms such as 8865, and reconciling investment K-1s, 1099s, or foreign disclosures like Form 8621 / 926
Excellent communication, review, and leadership skills
Passion for serving mission-driven organizations
