Full-Time Teller
INB, National Association is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their vibrant team of Tellers. In this role, you will handle financial transactions, provide exceptional customer service, and assist customers in achieving their financial goals.
Banking
Responsibilities
Responsible for greeting all bank customers, as they enter the branch, in a courteous and professional manner
Operate a teller window to process a variety of transactions within established guidelines, such as processing individual and commercial deposits, savings and checking transactions, cash advances, loan payments, credit card payments and other transactions
Enter customers' transactions into the computer to record transactions, and issue computer-generated receipts
Assist customers with questions regarding their accounts; Place holds on accounts, as appropriate
Order daily supply of cash, and count incoming cash; Balance currency, coins, and checks in the cash drawer and compare totaled amounts with data displayed on the computer screen
Participate in maintaining good customer relations by giving courteous, efficient service and developing new business by acquainting non-customers with bank services and presenting current customers with additional services; Identify and respond to these cross-sale opportunities by referring customers to the appropriate bank personnel
Record customer interactions in the bank's CRM platform

High school degree or equivalent required; Six months to one-year of related experience and/or training required in the area of cash handling or customer service
Requires ability to communicate effectively and clearly (both written and verbally); Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Requires ability to perform basic mathematical calculations; add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Requires ability to use good judgment in making routine and complex decisions; Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to sell products and Services; Ability to accurately handle large sums of cash; Must be goal-oriented and able to achieve individual goals as well as work as a team player to achieve departmental and/or Bank goals; Flexibility is necessary with the ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, with an ability to quickly learn other bank-related programs
The employee is required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Preferred
Cash handling experience is preferred
