Responsibilities
Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
Use your advanced knowledge of design concepts and techniques such as concurrent engineering, Design for Manufacture/Assembly DFM/A
Use your knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments or disciplines such as design, test, software, technology, avionics
Use your knowledge of the interaction between departments and disciplines and how their products or processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes such as Operations, Logistics, Business
Use your knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering disciplines and communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables
Use your ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area
Leverage your ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance
Qualification
Required
5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim or final U.S. Secret clearance post-start is required
Preferred
Experience working with USAF or other DoD agencies
Experience with creation, change, and baseline control of complex aerospace electro-mechanical systems
Experience with analog design and digital design, manufacturing, and sustainment
Experience engineering for obsolescence and sustainment
Experience with test equipment design, overhaul, and sustainment
Experience with Mentor Graphics, LTSpice, PSpice, MATLAB, Simulink, circuit simulators, …
