Responsibilities
Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to understand the various business opportunities that require data science solutions
Performs problem formulation, requirements gathering, and analytic planning
Helps develops predictive models using statistical techniques, machine learning and artificial intelligence
Presents and communicates insights back to the business to enable better decision making
Provides support through the implementation of the new insights to ensure insights are meeting the needs of the business and creating the expected value
Evangelizes best practices to analytics teams throughout the business
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field required
Three years of experience or combination of experience and education in data mining, data science, predictive modeling, and delivering business insights in an organization of comparable size required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure solutions are helping to meet business needs and drive value
Proven experience in conducting statistical analysis with advanced scripting languages such as R or Python
Demonstrated ability in writing complex SQL queries
Experience building, identifying & measuring success criteria
Broad experience in modeling processes using a variety of techniques
Desire to seek and share new developments, technologies, tools and advancements in data science
Experience in solving business problems with advanced analytical solutions
Preferred
Masters Degree preferred
