Responsibilities
Oversee recreation services, crafts, grounds maintenance, and regional safety/security operations
Manage budgets, contracts, grants, and MOUs
Lead highly complex or sensitive projects and assignments
Represent the department at community, County, and agency meetings
Collaborate with stakeholders to improve parks and recreation programs
Assume duties of the Assistant Director in their absence
Qualification
Required
At least 4 years of supervisory experience leading a team or unit in areas such as recreation program development or community services, capital projects, facility, or environmental planning, procurement, grant administration, or contract management, non-profit program operations, human resources, budgeting, or financial management, or other closely related areas
A Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of supervisory experience managing a team in any of the areas listed above
