Responsibilities

Champion User Experience Design and User Interface Design for designated projects, ensuring a seamless user journey
Execute user interviews, craft personas, journey maps, site maps and information architecture diagrams to provide a comprehensive understanding of user behavior
Develop user flows, task analysis matrices, wireframes, high-resolution mockups and prototypes to vividly illustrate product vision
Strictly adhere to Tax Design System standards, applying them appropriately to mockups for consistency and coherence
Collaborate closely with UI Developer to ensure the product build is accurate, user-friendly, accessible and aligns with the initial vision

Required

Must be pursuing and have obtained by the start date or have completed the following degrees/majors in the past 12 months: Bachelors or Masters degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Digital Media or equivalent program from an accredited college/university
Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
Coursework and/or basic knowledge in UI/UX Design, Figma, FigJam, Mural and Office 365, showcasing technical proficiency; as well as fundamental knowledge of crafting intuitive, engaging and visually captivating websites or applications that prioritize user ease preferred
Demonstrated quality service mindset; strong technical aptitude, critical thinking, quantitative skills and problem-solving skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
Possess robust interpersonal skills with a knack for articulating design direction and vision effectively; excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player and resourceful in delivering high quality work
Must reside within a reasonably commutable distance to the office for this position and be able to travel to reasonably commutable work locations using own means of transportation, such as a personal vehicle or public transportation
Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa)
