Director, Northeast Regional Sales

Responsibilities

Develops, implements, and manages strategic and tactical sales plans to meet sales goals and forecasts
Identifies and develops plans for end user account penetration
Monitors market trends and conditions of key market drivers, including activities of key competitors, to determine appropriate reactions to maintain the future growth of the business in an assigned territory
Acts as the primary point of contact with customers and partners in the territory for sales and technical issues
Manages internal cross-functional relationships to support accounts
Responsible for forecasting and acting on business opportunities
Prepares and presents annual business plan for assigned territory
Coordinates and communicates sales activities as appropriate
Conducts in depth product training or presentations for customers
Performs other related duties as assigned
Travel (Driving, Flying) as required to meet with potential and existing customers, resellers, distributors, OEMs, and 3rd party service providers

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Five years field sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Power Factor Correction, Harmonic Mitigation, and Voltage regulation products and applications
Previous experience in recruiting and managing sales channel partners
Working knowledge of sales automation tools
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software tools
Ability to represent company to customers, as well as to principles and senior management of resellers or manufacturers' representatives, with no supervision
Ability to operate in new and varied situations with a high degree of complexity requiring ingenuity, creativity and integrity
Excellent verbal and written language skills
Must have valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a US passport if necessary
