Responsibilities
Design and develop custom UI components using Lit JavaScript within the Now Experience Framework
Build and customize UI Builder experiences , including pages, macros, and reusable components
Develop and enhance ServiceNow applications using Scoped Applications
Customize and extend ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or other ServiceNow modules
Implement client-side and server-side logic using:
Client Scripts
Business Rules
Script Includes
UI Policies
Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
Optimize UI performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility
Follow ServiceNow best practices for security, performance, and maintainability
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation
Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and business stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform development
Solid expertise in Lit JavaScript and Now Experience UI Framework
Experience with UI Builder and Custom Components
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model, tables, and relationships
Experience with Service Portal or Next Experience UI
Hands-on experience with REST integrations
Knowledge of Agile / Scrum development methodologies
