Responsibilities
Develop and set up Mill/Turn programs using Esprit CAD/CAM, ensuring efficient and accurate machine performance
Create CNC programs for vertical milling operations using Mastercam, optimizing toolpaths for precision and repeatability
Refine machining processes to reduce cycle times, enhance part quality, and minimize scrap or rework
Determine the correct tooling, speeds, feeds, and fixturing required for complex, tight-tolerance components
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and advanced engineering drawings with a high level of precision
Diagnose machining challenges on the floor and act as the primary technical problem-solver
Drive continuous improvement by analyzing workflows, updating processes, and recommending equipment or method enhancements
Train and mentor machine operators to improve skill levels, consistency, and overall shop performance
Qualification
Required
3+ years programming Mill/Turn machines
Proficiency in Esprit or similar CAD/CAM platforms
Strong understanding of machining principles, GD&T, setup, tooling, and blueprint reading
Hands-on experience in aerospace and/or medical manufacturing environments
Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to spot inefficiencies instantly
