Responsibilities
Develops, integrates and provides account or brand-specific forecasts for internal sales and operations planning which includes replenishment data, point-of sale data, sales promotion information, marketing plans, manufacturing capacity, and new distribution/product deletions
Assists in the improvement of demand forecasting accuracy for internal and external customers including determining the appropriate algorithm for statistical forecasts
Maintains and manages product history, accurate forecasting, and promotional demand
Analyzes internal demand stream information, and categorizes according to demand patterns
Aligns sales/marketing intelligence for each operating unit for use in forecast systems, working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, research and development, and related forecasting and planning groups
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical capability
Business acumen
Ability to influence across a matrixed organization
Experience in demand planning activities
Ability to develop accurate demand forecasts
Experience in a highly regulated, fast-paced manufacturing environment
Experience in sales and operations planning
Ability to analyze internal demand stream information
Experience in aligning sales/marketing intelligence for forecasting systems
Preferred
Experience in medical device manufacturing or healthcare-related supply chains
Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Supply Chain, Analytics, or Operations)
APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent
Experience supporting global product portfolios and multi-site manufacturing networks
Exposure to advanced analytics, forecasting models, or digital supply chain initiatives
