Administrative Resident

Mercy is a healthcare organization providing a dynamic environment for graduate level students or recent graduates. The Administrative Fellow will gain experience in healthcare administration through a one-year fellowship, developing the skills necessary to become a successful healthcare leader.

Responsibilities

Mentorship will be provided along with opportunities to interact with other regional level executives through regular meetings to review and discuss Fellowship objectives and project assignments

Required

Strong interest in healthcare administration of a large multi-specialty group practice within an integrated healthcare delivery system
Eager to develop as a leader by broadening professional experiences and skills
Flexible and willing to take on challenging projects ranging from a full spectrum of operational and administrative areas
Exhibits accuracy, attention to detail, consistency, and ability to meet multiple deadlines in all work efforts
Demonstrates ability to synthesize information (quantitative and qualitative) and complete components of preliminary and final reports, including spreadsheets and financial analyses (if applicable)
Demonstrates ability to work independently and to collaborate in group settings
Exhibits a willingness to take on leadership and non-leadership roles and responsibilities

Preferred

Master's in Health Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent from an accredited graduate program, preferably CAHME-accredited, already completed
