Responsibilities

Assist in creating and updating RFQ training materials, including presentations, checklists, process overviews, and simple onboarding guides that reflect key steps of the RFQ process. The goal is to make it interactive and fun. Creativity is encouraged
Support RFQ Project Managers with day-to-day activities as needed
Help gather inputs from cross-functional partners (Engineering, Sales, Program Management, Finance) for RFQ preparation documents, templates, and internal learning resources
Contribute to organizing RFQ process content such as early engagement steps, inquiry analysis, concept review preparation, and quoting workflow references
Participate in RFQ training sessions and support the team in improving materials by capturing lessons learned and incorporating feedback

Required

Must be currently enrolled in a related Bachelor's Degree program or higher at an accredited institution having completed your Sophomore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter before participation in the internship program, and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
Be willing to work in an office in Novi, Michigan at least two days a week. The remaining time can be remote or in office
Able to provide your own housing and transportation to/from work
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
Must provide full work availability from May 18, 2026 through August 7, 2026 and be able to work 40 hours per week
Interest in learning RFQ processes and collaborating across functions, including engineering, sales, and program management, during pursuit activities
Strong organizational skills with the ability to help maintain shared documents, follow up on action items, and support meeting logistics
Comfortable using common productivity tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint) to help create and organize training materials and process documentation
Good communication skills and willingness to work with multiple teams to gather information and support RFQ PMs in day-to-day tasks
A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with an interest in process improvement and helping align materials to standardized RFQ best practices

Preferred

Experience with scripting: Python preferred
Experience with technical documentation
Experience with interactive media
