Responsibilities
Help manage accounting operations including, A/R, A/P, GL
Help the comptroller prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
Research accounting issues
Carry out month-end and year-end close process
Data entry into Quickbooks Online
Weekly client meetings
Client Quickbook file management
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Research accounting issues
Additional bookkeeper duties as necessary
Bill Paying
Qualification
Required
Working experience in the accounting field
Knowledge of accounting and finance experience
Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Experience with creating financial statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
Good computer and technology skills - ability to learn new software
Quickbooks experience is a must
Preferred
High school or equivalent
Peachtree/Sage experience is a plus
