Responsibilities

Ensuring the timely and accurate collection of cash resolving outstanding accounts receivable
Operates independently and directly supervises patient financial services staff
Requires complex data analysis and is required to make independent decisions within the scope of responsibility
Internal contacts consist of all levels of staff and management throughout MHS
External contacts consist of patients and their families, insurance companies, physicians and their staff, state and federal agencies, auditors, and vendors
Contacts are for the purpose of resolving problems and issues, and discussing sensitive and confidential information with all contact levels

Qualification

Billing experienceCollections experienceAccounts receivable experienceSupervisory skillsHealthcare experienceData analysisCommunication skills

Required

Associate's degree in business, accounting or finance or 2 years' experience in lieu of degree will be considered
Two (2) years of experience performing billing, collections, accounts receivable or claims processing work in a healthcare organization
Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a supervisory or lead capacity
