Responsibilities
Partner with Global Supply Chain (GSC) and collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement and disposition hardware non-conformances while maintaining optimal quality for customers
Support design for producibility, lean flow, and concurrent engineering
Support hardware qualifications for new processes, process changes, and new equipment
Apply knowledge of HGP design and manufacturing to implement ideas that enhance part functionality, reduce cost, and add value
Participate in Supply Chain Kaizens and Lean Action Workouts
Drive proactive quality engagement focused on defect reduction and process improvement
Support qualification guidelines, specifications, and resolution of top manufacturing issues
Contribute to technology development and qualification of special processes (castings, coatings, hole drilling, etc.)
Foster teamwork, a positive working environment, and a strong sense of urgency around quality and speed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Preferred
Gas turbine engineering experience, particularly with hot section components
Manufacturing experience
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing methods and statistical process control
Experience with HGP components, including NX, GD&T, and ANSYS Classic
Ability to build trust with team members and cross-functional partners
Familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes
Strong customer-focused mindset with a quality-driven approach
Excellent teamwork, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Willingness to challenge the status quo and drive best-in-class product outcomes
