Legal Assistant
Connect Search, LLC is a small, established professional services firm in the Elm Grove area seeking a part-time Legal Assistant / Office Assistant to support a small team of attorneys. Responsibilities
Answer phones, greet clients, and perform general receptionist duties
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, court staff, and other external parties via phone and email
Provide administrative support to a small team of attorneys
Prepare and transcribe documents related to real estate, corporate and business transactions, estate planning, and probate matters
Witness and notarize documents
Electronically file probate documents and e-record real estate documents
Enter attorney time and prepare client invoices
Process and pay invoices
Provide oversight of an outsourced bookkeeping service, including forwarding receivable and payable information and responding to basic inquiries
Perform limited bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online
Maintain accurate records and support general office operations
Qualification
Required
3+ years of recent administrative experience (legal experience preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word
Bookkeeping experience strongly desired, including invoice processing and payment tracking
Experience with electronic document filing
