Responsibilities
Performing weekly sales audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of reported sales
Processing royalties and weekly advertising fund contributions, including adjustments and returns
Recording and reconciling cash postings and other cash-related activity
Monitoring and managing the Accounts Receivable inbox, including responding to inquiries and resolving discrepancies
Preparing journal entries and A/P batches for corporate stores
Contributing to period-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
Creating and formatting reports and supporting documentation in Oracle, and Excel
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Supporting audits, special projects, and other duties as assigned Other duties and special projects, as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize recurring weekly tasks alongside month-end close deadlines
High attention to detail and accuracy
Self-starter able to complete work efficiently with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to professionally manage inbox communications and cross-functional inquiries
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, general ledger concepts, and transactional accounting processes
Preferred
Experience or familiarity with accounts receivable processes and transactional accounting preferred
CPA-eligible or actively pursuing CPA
