Marketing Manager
Method Co. is seeking a Marketing Manager to facilitate communication and collaboration between local operations and corporate marketing strategy. This role involves developing and executing local and regional marketing campaigns, ensuring creative outputs align with brand standards while promoting the product and brand to increase occupancy and drive revenue.
Responsibilities
Oversee the execution of local creative projects, including photo shoots, video production, and design work, ensuring alignment with the brand’s overall creative vision
Provide on-the-ground leadership during events, photo shoots, and other creative initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality outcomes
Tailor the overarching brand vision to fit local cultural contexts, ensuring creative outputs resonate with the regional audience
Collaborate with local talent to bring fresh, innovative ideas that align with the brand’s aesthetic and strategic goals
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans that align with regional business objectives and target markets
Create, manage, and optimize marketing campaigns across digital, email, social media, and traditional media
Conduct research and analyze trends to identify opportunities and threats. Leverage data to refine strategies
Establish partnerships with local businesses, tourism boards, and influencers. Develop and manage promotional messaging, offers, and packages
Monitor and report on marketing effectiveness using KPIs. Make data-driven recommendations
Collaborate with the marketing team to design campaigns that support sales goals
Build strategies to engage guests and foster loyalty. Implement feedback tools and ensure collateral aligns with current messaging and branding
Manage relationships with local photographers, stylists, designers, and other creatives, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines
Negotiate contracts and oversee vendor relationships for production and other services
Maintain regular communication with Corporate Marketing Directors (Content, Digital, Creative Services, Data Analytics) to align and receive feedback
Participate in regular meetings with central and regional teams to coordinate projects and ensure alignment
Serve as the primary liaison between local Detroit operations and Method’s corporate marketing team
Ensure all visual content produced meets brand guidelines and quality standards
Review and approve final visuals before release to maintain brand integrity
Maintain consistent brand representation across all marketing materials and channels
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
Strong portfolio showcasing creative direction, visual design, and content production
Proven experience in executing successful marketing campaigns
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and its marketing dynamics
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) and knowledge of photo/video production
Familiarity with digital marketing tools, social platforms, CMS, and CRM systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for strategic decisions
Creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Experience managing budgets and allocating resources effectively
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Detroit, MI
This is a full-time, onsite role requiring daily presence at the property
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Self-motivated team collaborator with strong organizational skills
Travel and on-site presence during key creative projects is required
Preferred
Knowledge of local market trends and consumer behavior is a plus
