Responsibilities
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including clinicians, researchers, and IT specialists, to gather requirements and specifications for digital health applications
Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and user-friendly algorithms that cater to the unique needs of cardiology, integrating AI/ML methodologies where appropriate
Ensure that the software solutions align with the latest industry standards and best practice
Work closely with the data team to ensure seamless integration of various data sources
Implement data validation and quality checks within the application to ensure accuracy and reliability
Manage databases, ensuring data security, scalability, and optimized for downstream usage
Collaborate with the team to leverage AI-based methods for data quality evaluation and enhancement
Collaborate with the clinical team to support technical-related ideas (e.g. AI/ML model building, statistical analysis) in the cardiology field
Write technical sections for publications and conference presentations
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, and biomedical engineering
Prior experience in either medical research or deep learning model development
General understanding of AI models in healthcare application
Familiarity with computational tools and programming experience (e.g., MATLAB, Sci-kit Learn, Pandas, Jupyter Notebook)
Expertise in developing with machine learning tools (e.g., Tensorflow, PyTorch)
Good verbal and written communication skills
Evidence of strong analytical skills such as critical thinking, data analysis, and research
Preferred
Prior publications or conference presentations in medical or technical fields
Prior experience with development of healthcare applications
Prior exposure to digital health tools or treatments to cardiology diseases
Strong technical documentation skill
