Responsibilities
Participation in weekly regional and team underwriting meetings
Shadow underwriters to learn and understand key components of common products in the specific line of business as well as learn and maintain knowledge of company workflow and procedures
Interact directly with internal PHLY teams in Insurance Operations and Marketing
Support the new and renewal submission process
Learn the details of the underwriting guidelines and authority levels within the department
Qualification
Required
Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor's degree
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Preferred
Involvement in community and extracurricular activities is preferred
