Responsibilities
Assist in the planning, design, and development of new data engineering, analytical, and data science applications, as well as enhancements to existing applications
Meet with decision-makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues
Operate independently on complex projects at the highest technical level of all phases of application systems analysis activities
Formulate or define system scope and objectives based on user needs
Develop or refine procedures to address complex challenges, considering IT system limitations, operational timeframes, and desired outcomes
Work with multiple business units in multi-platform environments on multi-project assignments
Guide and advise less experienced Systems Analysts
Design and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI
Create systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers
Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems
Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems
Create and deliver effective presentations to all levels of colleagues and peer groups
Document standards and procedures for various analytic platforms
Develop test cases and validate test results
Coach and transfer knowledge to less experienced team members
Exercise independent judgment and decision-making in planning, organizing, and conducting work assignments
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a systems analyst in Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Data Science projects
Proven expertise in SQL with a minimum of 7 years of experience crafting complex SQL queries
At least 5 years of experience designing DataMarts with a focus on Dimensional Modeling
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the design and development of Power BI dashboards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document projects and processes effectively
Skilled in developing impactful presentations and effectively communicating with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
Ability to work independently and implement solutions with minimal guidance
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalency
Preferred
Experience in Power Apps is advantageous
Prior experience in a regulated industry is preferred
