Entry Level Quality Technician

Responsibilities

Perform inspections of incoming components, materials, supplies, and outsourced finished goods in accordance with specifications and procedures
Conduct visual inspections, dimensional verifications, document reviews, and labeling and packaging checks to ensure product conformance
Record inspection results in inspection records and electronic systems to determine product acceptability or transfer for release
Identify and report nonconformances and support related investigations and disposition activities
Segregate, label, store, and quarantine nonconforming materials and finished goods appropriately
Perform and document rework and discard activities as required
Support audit preparation, training completion, and departmental metrics and reporting
Participate in tier boards, safety initiatives, lean activities, and visual manufacturing improvements
Assist supervisors with projects, issue trending, and performance monitoring

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Two to four years of experience in quality inspection within a regulated or GMP environment
Experience performing inspections and documentation in accordance with quality procedures
Ability to maneuver carts and material handling equipment up to fifty pounds while wearing protective equipment
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer focus
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and similar office applications
Experience using enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP
Ability to work varied schedules including occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends

Preferred

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience with nonconformance reporting and supplier quality investigations
