EF Educational Tours is seeking a highly innovative and strategic leader to join as a Creative Director. The role involves setting creative vision, guiding brand design, and leading a team to create impactful campaigns that resonate with the company's mission in the student travel space.

Responsibilities

Lead with purpose: Develop and articulate a compelling creative vision that aligns with business and brand objectives, demonstrating a clear understanding of our market, our customers, and our product
Guide brand design evolution: Actively lead and shape the brand’s design across channels, evolving our visual system with intention while maintaining a high bar for craft, consistency, and execution
Champion innovation: Bring forward fresh ideas that draw on industry trends, technologies, and market insights to continually evolve our creative output and capabilities
Inspire a team of creatives: Serve as a hands-on leader for the design team, providing direct management and mentorship, while also guiding and elevating creative output from copywriters, social media specialists, and video team members
Execute with excellence: Oversee the execution of campaign and promotional materials, including print and digital, ensuring they are of the highest quality and delivered on time
Collaborate to drive results: Partner closely with senior leadership, key functions (e.g. Sales, Product, and Digital), as well as cross-functional teams to translate business needs into bold creative work that achieves measurable results
Be a leading voice: Spread the word internally in small and large forums and across all levels to inspire and educate the organization on the power of smart creative and how it supports the company’s mission

Required

You have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Fine Arts, Marketing, etc.)
A minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, design, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role
You have a strong portfolio of work experience across a range of media platforms
You can effectively translate brand values and marketing objectives into impactful visual campaigns that resonate with target audiences
You thrive in collaborative environments and have a proven ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver outstanding creative work
You can articulate creative ideas clearly and persuasively, building consensus and buy-in from stakeholders at all levels
You have what we like to call ‘fingerspitzengefuhl' (German for ‘keeping one's finger on the pulse') when it comes to visual communication trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
