Responsibilities
Lead the Firm’s tax compliance process while partnering with the Managing Director of Tax to address the Firm’s expanding tax needs
Oversee and track all global tax compliance activities/reporting requirements for management company entities, funds, and SPVs
Manage and work closely with the Firm's outside tax advisors on all tax compliance matters, including: K-1 review and delivery, tax return filing (1065/1120/1120-REIT), taxable income provisions, estimates, and projections, payment and reporting of estimated taxes including 1042s and 8804s, investor and fund foreign information reporting (FATCA/CRS), responding to inquiries from various tax authorities, non-U.S. filings
Collaborate with the Firm's in-house teams, outside tax advisors, and administrators to streamline the flow of tax information
Execute and/or review tax elections, FBAR, commercial rent, PTE filings, entity formation, etc
Support complex tax structuring for various financial instruments/products and transaction types
Qualification
Required
7-12 years of partnership tax experience from alternatives
Financial services industry
Public, private or combo experience
Familiar with partnerships and the flow through to the corporate/ management side
Preferred
CPA preferred
Real estate and credit experience is a plus
