Responsibilities
Collaborate with AI, software engineering, and systems development professionals to support new solution development
Assist with building and enhancing ontology and knowledge graph capabilities that form the foundation for future AI applications
Support exploratory research, prototyping, and rapid experimentation across emerging AI/ML technologies
Participate in developing tools and platforms that enhance automation, improve decision-making, and drive continuous improvement
Contribute to full-stack development tasks with guidance from senior engineers
Engage in team discussions, design reviews, and backlog refinement to support Agile delivery rhythms
Receive mentorship and on-the-job training from experienced engineers and AI specialists
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, AI/ML, or related field
Experience with software development, particularly in full-stack engineering
Familiarity with Python, including reading, writing, and debugging simple scripts
Basic understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) or Generative AI concepts
Fundamental understanding of APIs, including REST principles and making basic API calls
Preferred
Introductory exposure to LLM tool calling and related workflows
Introductory experience in API development and integration
Awareness of Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Familiarity with Generative AI coding assistants
Basic understanding of cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of CI/CD concepts, including GitLab pipelines or OpenShift
Experience with additional languages such as Java or C++
Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and version control (e.g., Git)
