Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the work of the ABAP development team across concurrent SAP projects and day to day production support
Ensure timely delivery of development tasks in alignment with project schedules and priorities
Collaborate with project managers, functional teams, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver robust SAP solutions
Provides day-to-day user support, as well as drives improved user productivity through developing and implementing new business process and systems solutions
Conduct code reviews and maintain high standards for quality, performance, and maintainability
Manage activities of ABAP Team providing appropriate guidance in all ABAP development requests
Specifies and applies testing and quality monitoring procedures for all of ABAP team

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or combination of post-secondary education and related experience required
5+ years minimum experience in SAP ABAP development
3+ years minimum experience coordinating SAP ABAP development teams
2+ years minimum experience as functional analyst for modules SD or MM
Proficient in ABAP and Fiori/UI5 development, with a strong understanding of underlying architecture and capable of delivering optimized user experience
Detailed understanding of SAP's development architecture and best practices including new architectural guidelines for CAP, RAP, BTP, and clean core principles
Involved in project implementations for SD, MM, FI, and PM modules
Involved with at least 3 full lifecycle implementations of SAP
Project management skills needed (i.e. project plan development and tracking, issue resolution, risk mitigation, metrics development and tracking)
Proficiency in MS Office products
Preferred
Knowledge of processes in S4/HANA functional modules
Knowledge in HCM or APO programming
Knowledge of CPI and BTP
Background in manufacturing processes in a steel producer/processor industry or similar manufacturing environment
